I was reading through my old blog posts and I came across this questionnaire. I remember doing it all the time during the Myspace era! Figured I'd do one now too to pass time.

I was in bed..... I think I was just off the phone with a friend who laughed in my face when I said I just got up. K, in my defense, I couldn't sleep last night!

Who are you in love with?

My pillow and basically all of my room.

When is the last time you went to the mall?

This is a good question. I was supposed to go today but my bed got too possessive. Geez.

Are you wearing socks right now?

Nope. I'm tired of them after wearing them all the time in the UK! 

Does your family have a car worth over $2,000?

Yes.

When was the last time you drove out of town?

I don't know if it really counts if I flew out of town to Penang for Raya. I'm about to, though, tomorrow! To Terengganu insyaAllah! 

Have you been to the movies in the last 5 days?

Nope! There's nothing good in cinemas lately.

Are you hot?

I mean, yeah. 

What was the last thing you had to drink?

Plain water. I think I should pat myself on the back for not drinking too much soda these days. 

What are you wearing right now?

My pyjama pants I got from Primark and a college tee that says 'Work Hard Play Hard' and has 'KYASU' on the back because we're too damn proud of being really really studious. 

Do you wash your car or let the car wash do it?

I've never washed the car................

Last food that you ate?

Nasi lemak. I'm really really hungry though now. 

Where were you last week at this time?

I think I went out with my friend. I just can't recall who with and where. 

Have you bought any clothing items in the last week?

NOPE! Achievement, I must say so myself. 

When is the last time you ran?

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha ok.

What's the last sporting event you watched?

Honestly? The World Cup finals. Amazing. I can't wait for the next one! DEUTSCHLAND! 

What is your favorite animal?

I don't have one, I'm just generally afraid of all animals - small or big. 

Your dream vacation?

OMG, so the last time I did this same questionnaire, my 2011 self said Monaco and this past year, I did go to Monaco!!!! My dream vacation would probably be somewhere serene and chilled. Like Bali or Bora Bora.

My cousin's place to beraya. 

Worst injury you've ever had?

I think I scraped my knee. And that was all the way back in kindergarten. It was bad real bad Joe Jackson.

I don't know. 

Do you miss anyone right now?

I do. Quite terribly. 

Last play you saw?

I'm so angry at myself for not watching any plays yet!!! I vow to go see Wicked in London soon enough. 

What is your secret weapon to lure in the opposite sex?

It's this thing called being understanding. If you don't understand why your boy is out late at night to have some drinks (sirap limau kinda drinks, hold your horses), then you're clearly not fun. Lolz x

What are your plans for tonight?

I'm going out for dinner with the parental units. And maybe drinks (sirap limau kinda drinks, guys, geez!) with some friends. If they're up for it.

I can't even remember what I did last week, please don't expect so much out of me, guys.  

Next trip you are going to take?

To Terengganu tomorrow. I'll tell you how it goes soon insyaAllah!

Nope, never in my life. And I don't think I will ever. Sorry, Bear Grylls.

Nope. But it's never too late!

Honestly. Who I would get married to so then I would know who's wasting my time. Cheh.

I think I might have a bit of Zara left on me.

Contemplating my life decisions. Lol jk I was watching SourceFed.

I'm supposed to start my work but ho hum.

I admit, I do read my old blog posts from time to time; to laugh, to reminisce, to see what I was doing on a specific date, to see how I've (hopefully) progressed in terms of my writing skills (my writing was laughable when I first started out, it's embarrassing). Sometimes, when I read my posts back and see a grammar mistake or a typo, I'll actually go and correct it. Even when I know nobody will read that far back.

And I've completed surveys on this blog and when I read them back, I'll be so embarrassed and go all "But whyyyyyyyyyy Nadia whyyyyyyy"

So I decide to do one today so I can go all "But whyyyyyyy Nadia whyyyyyy" again in the future.

TV Shows I've Been Loving

1. House of Cards. I don't know how I feel about this actually but I was sucked in and spent a good two to three days watching the whole 2 seasons. It's good but a weird kind of good. Kevin Spacey kut.
2. HIMYM is coming to an end in about 2 days time. SO MUCH FEELS!!!!! I've been watching this show for 9 years now, albeit on and off but I always come back to this show for my dose of good comedy.
3. Scandal. I've got such a love/hate relationship with that show.

(I didn't mention Grey's Anatomy because I've been loving that show ages ago so it's nothing new)

Things I'm Excited About

1. For the next 2 weeks to be over because that's when all my assignments are due. After that, I'll be a happy bunny.
2. My summer with Tanners!!!!!!! SOOO stoked for our little sissy bonding time.
3. Fashion Valet x Mimpikita's second collection hahahah I have Tania at the ready to buy on my behalf.

Things I Miss

1. Driving. Anywhere and everywhere. Driving.
2. Malaysian ringgit. Hahahahaha I miss having cash lah basically. I hardly ever have cash with me now because there's no purpose for it anymore sebab I don't like withdrawing money here. So yeah. Cash. I miss cash.
3. Taking photos with my camera. I sometimes despise my phone for having such a high quality built-in camera but I was browsing through my photos the other day and no matter how high tech your phone is, taking photos with a proper camera is second to none.

So now, the UK is officially back to being 7 hours behind Malaysia. I've lost an hour. So I'll sleep now.

It's important to at least have one good day in the week so I hope that day is tomorrow for you.

It's a few days away til the New Years and I still can't comprehend that 2012 is almost already over. Where did my year go and can I get it back?

1 What did you do in 2012 that you'd never done before?
I drove.

2 Did you keep your new year's resolutions and will you make more for next year?
I never keep my NY's resolution. And I'll probably still will but this time I'm going to make a really lame one and see if I can keep with that.

3 Did anyone close to you give birth?
No. But Aunty Nina did give birth to a baby on December 12th. So much for End Of The World for their family; it was a brand new beginning for a small Danial Karim ! :)

4 Did anyone close to you die?
No. Blessed and grateful to Allah for everyone still here with me.

5 What countries did you visit?
London! Had a brilliant 3 week stay. Would love to go back in the Spring!

6 What would you like to have in 2013 that you lacked in 2012?
Perseverance.

7 What dates from 2012 will remain etched upon your memory. And why?
My birthday! Had the best birthday surprise from my college mates (courtesy of Mama and Tania).

8 What was your biggest achievement of the year?
I drove. Hahahahahaha. After a year of getting my drivers license ! And getting my university offers was kinda cool too.

9 What was your biggest failure?
Didn't live to what I wanted my results to turn out but hey ho.

10 Did you suffer illness or injury?
Wouldn't be a major thing lah but so one day right, went to the gym and worked out kaw kaw like I don't even know what got into me right and I had the worst leg cramps ever that I was limping for like 3 days! LOL. And for illness; I fell sick couple of times. Horrible!

11 What was the best thing you bought?
My neon patterned cardigan from H&M and my One Direction tee lolololol i swear it's the cutest thing!

12 Whose behaviour merited celebration?
Hafiz Ismail for being such a trooper for what he's going through now.

13 Whose behaviour made you appalled?
Can't really say who by name but there was one.........

14 Where did most of your money go?
I spent a lot on clothes this year and make-up.

15 What did you get really really really excited about?
The London trip!

16 What song will always remind you of 2012?
Love on Top. This song was my freaking birthday anthem! Love it.

17 Compared to this time last year, are you: (i) happier or sadder? (ii) thinner or fatter? (iii) richer or poorer?
(i) It's a pretty balanced thing right now actually. I've had a good share of my happy times and my sad times so...
(ii) I reckoned I've gained a few pounds because I've been eating quite a lot of rice since I'm in college and all but again, pretty much the same overall.
(iii) Hey, if I have a roof over my head, food to eat, clothes to wear, I'm good. Richer or poorer, I'm still living in a house with a car and constant supply of food; so nothing's changed. Happy!

18 What do you wish you'd done more of?
Studying.

19 What do you wish you'd done less of?
Chalet hoppin'.

20 How did you spend Christmas?
Was in OU with my friends for a quick lunch at Madam Kwans and met Madam Kwan herself! Totes cutes. And had a nice Christmas dinner with my friends in KL. A day out with both groups of friends.

21 Did you fall in love in 2012?
With 5 handsome boys of 1D.

22 What was your favourite TV program?
Are you srs right now don't even start with TV programs with me. SUITS SUITS SUITS GREY'S GREY'S GREY'S.

23 Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
Oooooooo yep. Wish I didn't though to be honest.

24 What was the best book you read?
Freakonomics.

25 What was your greatest musical discovery?
Balance and The Traveling Sounds. And Bo Amir Iqram.

26 What did you want and get?
A Miu Miu purse.

27 What did you want and not get?
City University.

28 What was your favourite film of this year?
TDKR???? Good stuff.

29 What one thing made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
London. Been wanting to go since a long time ago so to finally go there was brilliant.

30 How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2012?
Easy. Plain and simple and even though I'm trying to be all cool and wear cool things, we all know I just revert back to my tee and pair of jeans by the end of the day. And yes, if I could wear my kaftan to the dining hall/cafe at night, I would.

31 What kept you sane?
To be honest, there was nothing really that made me want to go INsane in the first place.

32 Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
A lot. Ed Sheeran, Rebel Wilson, the cast of Suits (all of 'em), and so many others I can't seem to recall and name now.

33 What political issue stirred you the most?
I'm not going to pretend like I'm SUPER involved in the world of politics but Gaza and it's ongoing issues 'stir' me in the sense that there are so many lives, young and old, being taken away. I look at photos and am immensely heartbroken.

34 Who did you miss?
My high school mates.

35 Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2012.
To not take things for granted and to always be thankful for a healthy life. Also, never leave wallets in a surau. Even if it IS a surau.
