New Years Resolution for '12

We're closing on to the new year and so I decided to make a list of things I'd like to accomplish before I have to do a new one for 2013.

1. Go the extra mile in my studies.

"Everyday I'm studyin'" for at least an hour. Also, the 'extra mile' = RC after acad hours (this is quite the challenge gah!) every other day, Maths with Iman, History with Q, Eng Lit with Diyana and Economics with... well, Q again. Have the habit to go up to my teachers and ask questions personally after or during classes. Send in extra essays (what sucks in having 3 subjects centering around long draggy essays!!!!) and ask ways to be improved. Do I sound like a motivation book yet ? WELL I'M NOT DONE. AS is in May and before we go on any holiday, I want to be able to go knowing I did my very very very best in the examination hall. Going to kick ass in Math. Even if it's the last thing I freaking do.

3. Be a lot more friendlier. Being studious for the next 6 months doesn't mean I have to be a hermit in college.

4. Reply my mentions on Twitter because it's trés rude to have someone mentioning you and you completely ignore or feel too lazy to reply. The little things matter.

5. Try to come home less (hahahahaha).

6. Gym !!!!!!! Srsly, people.

That's pretty much it. Seems already too much to handle. Going out now for nasi daun pisang with my mum !

'Til then ! x

Kamek Kitak

If you're asking why the title, it's because I'm seriously obsessed with the Sarawakian dialect hahahaha thanks KYUEM for introducing me to friends from the East (right?) !
It's closing on midnight and I'm bored from reading the same sentence in Economics so I thought I'd blog for a bit.

I'm currently

1 Listening to real good guitar playing by Justin King. Got this off Facebook from Kashif. Thanks, man. It's hecka soothing and so lovely.

2 Youtubing Economics videos because I don't understand what I'm reading so I thought watching it would be more beneficial.

3 Going through my bad hair days. It's basically has been a bad hair MONTH. My fringe is in its very clumsy stage and won't stay put so I've resulted into this really ugly middle parting that makes me look partially bald. Meh.

4 Bored out of my mind. Been at home the whole of Saturday. Went out to the library and got some (very little) Math done and well. That was it. Turned down my mum's offer to go for a Turkish body scrub in Bangsar because I just don't get it. Like, why. Why would you want people to scrub for yourself. Freakish.

5 Singing to Earth, Wind & Fire while 'headbanging' (because I have this reindeer headpiece with little bells so I'm basically shaking my head to the beat of 'September') to annoy Iman who is now skyping with her friend. This just gave me an idea. I think proms and dances should include disco songs instead of Rihanna and Pitbull. K I just tweeted that.

6 Craving for roti jala. Nuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu

7 Downloading Blondie.

8 Happy Christmas is here. I LOVE CHRISTMAS. Wish I got to celebrate it elsewhere though.

9 Missing my college mates ! Especially my chaletmates and Marissa, Amal, Sonu, Karishma, Kaynisha, Shubs, Ha, Fatin, Nanaaaaa, Q, Iman, MUUUUUN, Sam, Olan, Farhan, Kanda, Gami, Prem, Pash, and a whole lot more billions of people there.

10 Procrastinating like a freaking pro lah doh. I haven't even started on my Literature and/or History. DIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

Kbye people of the virtual world ! Have a great weekend :) x

Uncreative

Hi !

I just got back from my trip to OU alone. Yep. And I thoroughly enjoyed it because I had nothing to layan and talk to. Alone time is usually my favourite time. Managed to get some things though my whole purpose was to get me some decent pair of denim but of course, I sidetracked and got 2 blouses instead. Was very tempted to blow my money for an Economics book but figured I'd save that later for when Mum tags along. WHICH SHE SHOULD because I usually find great things when my mum isn't around and when money is scarce. But when she's there, it just so happens nothing is nice and I'm stuck dumbfounded.

Ok why am I writing

  • Went all the way to Bangsar to get my pavlova only to find it all gone. How depressing. So I settled for a brownie instead, nasib sedap jugak.
  • I'm listening to a Spanish song. Wai. Because it's good and I want to hafal lyrics so that I feel like a Spanish girl. Wai.
  • I finally have my yearbook for my senior year in high school. FINALLY ! And the memories come rushing back. I had a pretty good one :)
  • I am on the hunt for i) Olive green pants ii) Light purple button up top iii) New black strappy wedges iv) A new handbag
  • My birthday is in a month, more or less, and I've already been pestering my mum about the things I want come January 19th. Heh heh heh
  • I should seriously get studying ! This weekend, I promise !
  • Been trying to blog as much so that it'll compensate for my busy 2nd semester. Not that anybody reads.....
xxxxx See ya babies in another post. Or at OU, whichever comes first

Dreamers Dream

It has been a very dull Sunday. No, wait. It has been a very dull weekend. Do I mind ? Not so much because I've been very lazy and prefer the rainy evenings to be spent sleeping.

I'm currently deciding if I should get the Steve Madden shoes here or should I just wait til I get to Singapore to get one ? Heh. Pretty much the whole day I've been in bed with my laptop. Which is ridiculously sloth-like of me to do. I'm MUCH MUCH MUCH MUCH more productive in college, damn it.

Also ! I'm watching 2 Broke Girls and it's all sorts of ace. Love it. LOVE Kat Dennings.

And the conversation ends there. GAWD, WHY CAN'T I BLOG NO MORE

Balle Balle !

... and my 6 weeks break commences !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello there on the other side of the computer !

I'm cheery now because I just ended my first semester in KY and to sum my first 5 (give or take) months there, I can say fully that there's nothing I dislike about it. And truth be told, even if it has been a few hours since our last day in college for the year I've already started to miss it !

Which is tad bit dramatic.

Over the past week, the college hosted several events; i) Christmas ii) Diwali Night iii) End of Sem dinner iv) Parents Day

Didn't go for Christmas because I had Diwali dance practice to attend and fully whole heartedly enjoyed it. Danced to Shiela Ki Jiwani and Desi Girl and my favourite; the Bhangra. Safe to say, all 3 songs are on my iTunes now hihi. Of course I was a nervous wreck awaiting the dance but it quickly went away once we all got up stage and the blinding lights hindered our audiences. It was like dancing to an empty hall only much louder. And my friends were there (a big great shout out to my fellow dance mates; Diyana, Anusha, Zati, Pana, Nadhirah, Sheems, Zoe, Karishma) so that made it a whole lot better. I have Diyana to thank for for lending me her lengha. A gorgeous one at that, so all the more love to you, girl !! And bhangra was amazeballs ! I loved bhangra practices so I was very much looking forward to the whole dance itself. My partner was Hakim Wahid so we had a ball practicing it.

And so happened that we wore the same shade of red the day itself ! Heh heh :)

And then there was End Of Sem dinner. I had no dress to don so I whipped out my mustard yellow top from Topshop that I was planning to wear for Acad hours but never got around to so decided to wear that. I kinda looked like I was representing Pantone Colours Inc. 'cause I paired it with bright pink pants and I borrowed Anis' headband she wore the night before for Diwali, thanks babe ! :)

I had a brilliant time for both events and it was perfect to end our 5 month stay in college ! As much as I love home, a part of me wants to be back in college mostly for my friends (Hi, Amal, I miss you too !)

Garnet came in second for the video competition but I thought we did our very best (ehem Amal!) and a big shout out and congratulations to my dear Amal for directing the video and Diyana for winning Best Actress. I was very embarrassed when I came on and realised the bloopers weren't a good idea at all hahahaha oh well.

How are your holidays coming along ? Planning a trip to Singapore with Ayesha and hoping it goes through because I need a holiday !

See you cherry bombs !

Lightning

Birthday's in January and I'm excited because I'll be turning 19 on the 19th heh heh. Also, I have some Miu Miu things in mind for Mama to buy as a birthday present trololol x

Hi !

It's been a while and for you faithful readers (again, if any), hi ! I've missed blogging, honestly. I simply can't get myself doing it due to the i) Shitty internet connection in college (really, it's starting to piss me off) ii) Past few weeks have been pretty occupied and swamped with practices leading up to Diwali night and well, iii) laziness.

The last 'reason' shouldn't come off as a surprise seeing how I am really good at it and seem to be acing it through out my whole entire naturally born life.

I'm home now and NEXT WEEK, OUR ONE MONTH BREAK STARTSSSSSS, I so excited, I just can't help it ! I didn't really want to come back seeing how it's a short weekend and well, bleh. But I had to go get myself something nice to wear for Diwali Night and End Of Sem dinner so Mum came and got me home. Yayyyyy for home sweet home.

Moving on...

I haz a new punjabi suit ! I was actually supposed to buy a lengha and so Mama very kindly brought me to City One Plaza in Masjid India and we hunted for it but unfortunately, most shops don't even have it which is the weirdest thing ever -.- And kalau ada pun, they're i) Expensive ii) So grand, I look like I'm about to go for my own wedding.

So, settled for a maroon punjabi suit with gold beading. Tried dancing with it last night and tripped a couple of times thanks to the pants. But oh well, I'll work with it soon enough.

Ok I've run out of things to talk about and I'm extremely hungry right now so I'm going to find myself some thing to eat. I bid you a good day !

Sparkle*

Hello, lovely people of the blogging world !

How is everyone doing this fine Sunday ? K fine, it IS coming to a close but still.

I'm home and usually by now, I'd be getting ready to go back to college but I've decided to just go back tomorrow morning instead and straight to class. I'm too lazy to go on a Sunday night. Bleh.

So now, here I am, lazing in bed, books untouched (like, seriously, it's been in my bag since I first brought it back, weekend laze FTW!) and I have my tie-dye kaftan on which is the bomb diggity and yeah. I have Beats on but I don't like it. It gives me a headache because the arch is really heavily resting on my head and wtf it hurts !

K edit

This is a Monday now and I saved yesterday's post as a draft so yeah... interesting stuff. Completely and utterly fascinating.

I just got back from the dining hall and had ikan keli for dinner. This time round, it wasn't as nice as I had before.

Ok i'm about to do some Econs now k bye

Varsity

Hi

I'm in college right now. And it's a long weekend (meaning, classes end by Friday noon and so we're allowed to go back as opposed to a short weekend where classes end on Saturday noon ergo short weekend). It's not half bad given I have some great company here crashing over my place most of the time (CC: Amal Azman, Marissa Malkit, Mansonia Sidhu, Karishma, Kaynisha) which I don't mind at all since they make my day a whole lot better because they happen to be the most ridiculously hilarious people and I can sakit perut sakit pipi gelak with them. Which makes them perfect for a long lonely weekend without being in the comfort of my own home :(

Ok, this is depressing. Why is that when I'm writing a blog post, an Adele song comes up. It's now 'Hometown Glory' which is freakishly apt to this blog post since it talks a lot about Adele loving her hometown, London.

Depresi.

And now, I'm alone in the chalet because i) One has gone back ii) One has gone a-dating iii) One has gone God knows where..

..and that leaves me here consolidating my Economics work. I really should start on History any time soon.

I'm actually starting to get hungry and I don't know what to eat. I don't think Abang Burger (the guys who delivers Ramly burgers) is available on the weekends. It's like they don't want us to eat here ! The atrocity !

Currently balancing between singing my heart out to a Beyoncé number and trying to make sense of the History article I'm reading. And of course, writing this blog post. Though I might be losing this 3-way battle to just concentrating on typing instead. Multi-tasking, I'm horrible at.

Someone Like You

Distances can be a bitch sometimes. I can't help it that it didn't go the way I wanted and expected it to be. I'm not one for PDA and I don't think we've gone public in the sense that we've declared our undying and everlasting love for each other on Facebook (gag gag nor do we have any good photos together as a couple. Most of our friends got to know eventually without either of us mentioning it. We just got to be in the end. He was (and still very much is) my best friend first and foremost and boyfriend second. Most and I dare say, ALL of our friends love Hafiz more than anything and is everyone's best friend. I don't see how he can't. Besides being the nicest person you'll come across, he also possesses one of the rare traits in society now; chivalry. We've been together for a year and a half and even though it's nothing compared to the 4-5 year relationship some our friends have, I'm glad to have spend these 18 months being your one and only (I hope hahahaha). Right from the get go up til last Wednesday, I've received nothing but genuine friendship and (gosh I'm going to sound like a Hallmark card) deep affection from this lovely boy.

He hates me sometimes hahahahahaha. I can be quite annoying. He'll tell you that I have this habit of changing my pathways in a millisecond ergo bumping into him like everytime. Or how we mute the phone when I have to blow my nose (he finds it gross, boo him!) or how impatient I am when it comes to Math question. He's clearly the better one of us two. He's more patient - though I can't say the same when it comes to drivers on the road, see now, THAT he goes ballistic - and definitely the more polite one. We're ying and yang which is what I needed. More than anything, he has taught me more than anyone has, let it be from the addmath questions (he tutored me at the very last minute before SPM heheh) or all the random facts he tells me or how to reverse park, Hafiz was my guru.

I'll be the first to admit, that I'm a difficult person to be with. Really, I am. And Hafiz, knowing just how difficult and annoying and tiring I can be, bears up with all the hassle I throw his way. He puts up with my mood swings and he (as annoying as HE can be and how sometimes I want to slap his face) makes my day.

For being i) The most tiring person to bear with ii) A whiner and a complainer and iii) your best critic, I'm sorry. I apologize for everything, small or big, I may have and have not done. I'm lucky and eternally appreciative to have met someone like you.

Right from your 6-card birthday wish up to our endless New York Deli trips and your tireless driving up and down to fetch and send me from all our outings together, 'thank you' simply does no justice to my perpetual gratitude for all you've done.

"Love is friendship set on fire" and that was exactly what Hafiz and I were. Best of friends that grew to be more than that. I'm lucky to have been your first girlfriend because you, my friend, have set the bench mark, believe me you. To have ended this relationship with you does not, by all means, indicate the end of our friendship.

Hafiz, I love you then and I love you still, I always have and I always will.

It's Friday

Hi.

It's already Friday, what the actual fu- ??!?!?!?!?!

It's supposedly my 'study leave' and all I've been doing is going out more than studying. Which is bad, real bad Joe Jackson ke Michael Jackson, I've forgotten the lyrics.

Anyway.

Yeah, my teeth hurt real bad right now because I went to the dentist yesterday and he must have done something, tighten it or whatevs and now it sucks cause I had like my favourite lauk for dinner and I couldn't enjoy it (Read: go for a second (or third) helping) as I'd like. Heh :(
Mum and I have gone crazy over lemon cakes ! It all started when we went to Pavilion the other day and Mama managed to get her hands on these cheese with lemon tart and it's basically the most fattening thing you can imagine but boy, was it delish !

Then, we discovered the lemon cake slices from Starbucks (out of all places) and it's so brilliant !!!!!!! My favourite cake now is, besides pavlova, lemon cake haha. The bomb diggity.

Lights are off and I'm too much of a coward to study alone downstairs so I'll probably just lay in bed (what else is new ?) and attempt to find some material online to study with ? HEH this sux sem exam sux

moon x stars

It's my first Saturday staying in college. It's actually going okay considering I've been in my room reading my Economics textbook, trying to make sense of it all.

Right now, I'm trying really hard to not make any sudden movements because I'm experiencing leg cramps and it's the kind that if you move a millimeter, it sends what to me, seems like an electric shock all over my body. Which is not really pleasant. It actually hurts.

My hair is up in a bun and pulled back with my favourite thin plastic pink headband. I cleared my desk so that I can actually study on a proper table. And yeap, since July 12th, I've never sat in this miserable blue chair. 'Til now. I've always studied on my bed and that always resorts to me drifting off into a deep slumber. WELL D'UH ?

I have Soap & Glory's eye brightening serum under my eyes for the eyebags I've been lugging around since the start of college and so it now looks purple. Like I got punched in the eye, only it's sparkly.

Just took a dinner break and Amal (<- click for her blog) stopped by. Talked about random stuffs from sleepovers to awkward cousins. Such a fun girl, she is. It's now 11:30 and I'm supposed to continue studying but this whole blogging thing is my way of procrastinating. And being my lazy self.

Hmm what else..

I gots me self a new camera !! The Olympus Pen. Planned to get it before Raya and my duit raya covered half the cost (which my mum then paid for the rest for it, bless her!). I love it ! I've always wanted a camera for myself and myself only and I finally do. Can't wait to experiment with it. I just haven't had the chance to ! Will try and go around snapping photos during the whole 'Olympics' next week. Exams are in 2 weeks and before that, we have a whole week of break (read: study leave) and I've doubt that the teachers are going to give us revision work to prep us for the Sem Exam so basically that one week of break will be hopefully productive. Hopefully.

Most TV shows have returned with their new episodes and I'm about the only person who hasn't seen the new episodes of HIMYM and I'm trĂ©s sad ! I'm allowing myself a day next week to go out and shop and eat and have fun and watch all the new episodes and the rest of it to study. I sound so teruk being all studious but dude, you'll be too if you were in this place crawling with scholars. They're.. everywhere. It's only logical for me to work 10x harder to atleast be at the same wavelength as they are. Maybe even more which is quite unnerving.

I sound so cliché. ON TO THE NEXT

I have Adele's Hometown Glory on now and I luv it. I luv her. I luv her accent and I luv how she has this whole 'So what?' attitude. Beats all the crap we have on the radio anyway.

I'm on different topics every paragraph and I dunno why ! I'm trying to blog as much as I can because I feel like I'm the only one blogging here AND have a Tumblr. Like, with words. Besides Jan. WHERE ARE MY FELLOW BLOGGERS (READ: Ila!!!!!!) ? http://pasrah.com.my

That wasn't an actual link, btw. I was trying to be hilarious.

Other than that, college has done me good. Also, maybe because I have Diyana as a chaletmate. She pretty much influences all of us to study. Sometimes je ah. Sometimes, I'll just go to sleep hahahahaha. I've been eating way too much for someone my size. Serious doh. I shouldn't have opened the 2nd tin of jam tarts. Yeap, finished the first one single-handedly. Like a pro. Gah !

I just realised that September is the month where most students who intend to study overseas have probably already gone overseas. I know some people who have left for the UK. Which means, this time next year, my seniors are off on their university journey. And then the year after that, my batch ! And I can only hope for the best for my friends and I. BAPAK BEST DOH KALAU pergi sama sama. It's only been 2 months here and I'm more determined than ever ! InsyaAllah, if things go well, I shall finally be in the UK to further my studies like how I've always wanted to since I was 7.

Am I boring you yet ?

Wonderland *

Hi everyone !

Sorry for the lack of posts, been busy in college. It's Hari Malaysia day today so..

Dear Malaysia,

As much as you can get too hot and you don't have Urban Outfitters here, I still love you dearly and don't worry; as much as I say I will, I don't think I'll live anywhere else (cough London cough) but here. Your food is too good to abandon for bland Western food. Teehee.

College has been robbing time out of my hands. I start college at 815 and finish by 4. And when I come back, I usually sleep. Til dinner. LOLOL. My chaletmates have established that quite clearly now. Kaveetha even said "I'm going to pull a 'Nadia'" and she meant sleeping. So by pulling a 'Diyana', you're studying and by pulling a 'Nadia', you're taking a nap. Says a lot, hm ?

...

Anyway, let's see if I can recap anything interesting....

... I'm comin' up empty.

OH. Ok, well there's the IELTS class. We only just started our IELTS class and it's okay, I like Ms Selvi, she's fun. I guess. She has a thing for the Punjabs in our class though. And then there's the whole snakes issue. Over the past week, we've had 4 sightings of snakes. Like, LEGIT snakes. One was found nearby (opposite Haniesha's chalet which is sebelah ours) and malam pulak tu ! So the college had some people to surround our house with sulphur which is apparently a repellent for snakes. I didn't know that..

And then, I HAD THE BEST SEAFOOD EVER. Went to Seafood Garden in Tanjung Malim on Monday (or wazzit Tuesday?) with 11 other people and sumpah doh, sedap gila mygod ! I foresee many many many more trips there. YUM

Sports Carnival has come and gone and it was the best !!! I had the best time with my fellow Garnetrons cheering on at almost all the games. Was most enthusiastic for the night events though.. All in all, I had such a good time and it was so nice to see everyone come together to support their fellow housemates playing sports.

Ok that's it for now. I'm going to go do research on History nao and then IDK. I'm actually sleepy. Maybe it's the mengundang weather.......

Ciao bella babies x

Walkin' In The Rain ~

Hi I'm home for a week and I'm happy about it.

Things I've Done Whilst In College

  1. Played water fight about twice now. Once during induction which was bloody cold since it was in the early morning and it was our last 'Morning Exercise'. And we just had our second one; our Revelation Day 'bashing' which was basically the seniors pouring water on us.
  2. Had movie nights in our common room ('cause L30 where's the party at). So far, we've only watched Aladdin and Lion King but still, so much fun ! Reliving our childhood one Disney movie at a time.
  3. Stumbled with books while running back to our chalet in the rain with Diyana. Not a pretty sight, with baju kurung and all.
  4. Witnessed Kaveetha and Diyana do the 'amoeba' and the MC Hammer dance..... also kinda odd but highlarious.
  5. Killed about a million ants with my bare hands.
  6. Appris le français avec Akmal en cours de maths
  7. Watched debate for the course of 3 weeks and glad to know that Garnet won both first place and fourth. YAYYYY ~
I haven't had the chance to play any sport though ('cause I'm slowly and painfully becoming into a hermit) but I'm going to try to in the future ! I don't know what sports per se, but I'm just going to try ("and the crowd goes wild", yeah, with laughter ha ha ha).

RAYA IS NEXT WEEK and I'm okay about it. Maybe it's cause of the week break JE. It used to be 3 weeks :"(

OK ciaoz demauzzzz (Kaveetha has been saying this and so have I. CURSES)

New Yawk ~

HI

It's been quite some time since I last posted something. I've been busy in college and it doesn't help that the WiFi there is as slow as me when it comes to getting out of bed in the morning. Which is why my mum bought me a broadband and I'm so excited ~

I've been coming back every weekend and I spend my days home kinda just soaking in all the luxuries I get here i.e; Clean showers, good food (not saying anything but nothing can beat my mum's masak lemak!) and my comfortable but trés messy bedroom that has been taken hostage by my two sisters. But KY, more than anything, has made me appreciate home more. And before I go on and become too sappy, I'll update on what has been the happeningzz

  1. Debate has been going on these last few weeks and it's so much fun. I'm not debating (duh, can't hold an argument for MY LIFE) but I've been watching my fellow batch mates going at it. I have nothing but absolute respect to those are able to think on their feet and to counter such arguments. I'll probably go all 'WTF k shutup'. Like always.
  2. How has puasa been treating you ?!?! Kaveetha accepted the challenge and puasa-ed like a bawse on the 8th. I remember the date because it's circled brightly on the calendar in our common room and has "CONQUERED" written across in red. By Kaveetha of course. I've been doing well though some times, I'll miss Sahur by accident and go all FFFUUUUU because I do much much worse if I don't have my very early breakfast.
  3. RAYA IS NEXT WEEK AND WE ONLY HAVE A WEEK TO CELEBRATE. Zz. What happened to all the 2-3 weeks holiday for it :( I think I only have like, one baju raya hahahaha but it's all good because I'll probably wear my grandma's.... again
  4. I miss my high school friends ! I may not show it but I do.
  5. I don't know why but I've been eating a lot in college. Let it be the million Honey Stars we have or the sandwich I make, I'm just constantly eating... o____o
So... how's everyone ?

My posts are getting boring and boring-er by day.

KYUEM x

This is Pash trying to carry me ! Fail lah...

With Prem, Gami, Kumar and Pash. About the nicest people you'll ever meet !

Everyone was in everyone's photos lol !

With Zack and his cooler than life camera.

With Ha !

With Elaine and Haniesha. They even crashed my room one night and ranked the boys hahaha

Hi everyone !!!

I'm back for my long weekend. Phew. I'm so exhausted, I spent my Saturday in bed sleeping ! It was so good to wake up 'late' ('late' being 9 in the morning). Had breakfast at Ravi's and came home sleeping lol. I shower longer now, trying to soak myself in hot water hahahaha. So teruk.

Anyway, I'll start blogging something legit and substantial now.

Our first day in KYUEM was July 12th. Reached there at about 9 ? Met up with Kaveetha and Diyana there and managed to get the same chalet as them which was ace ! Parents went off a little after noon. Went in the dining hall feeling all small and intimidated because most of the seniors were already there and we had 'Fresh Meat' written all over our foreheads. Which sucked. Reminded me of the cafeteria scene in Mean Girls. LOL.

My first 3 days in KYUEM was kinda pretty horrible because I wasn't really enjoying the food and wasn't sleeping well. I couldn't sleep AT ALL the first night there. I kept tossing and turning til something stupid like 3 in the morning which was sucky because I had to wake up yb 6 for Subuh prayers and off to morning exercise. My energy kong by the end of the week !

Anyway, yeah. Induction was 2 weeks give or take. Had the best time ever ! We got so much scolding though the first few days. Like, serious scolding. Being honest, I hated the seniors because dahlah penat, and they were always screaming at us :"( But oh well. We had some games and the first week was basically programmes to get to know each other. There was Treasure Hunt and the Trust thing where we all had to be blindfolded except for the group leader and he had to lead us to the Orde Kosmos. But the seniors were the 'hantu' and they influenced us by SCREAMING into our ears saying 'Left! Left!!! Now go right!!!!' lol super funny because I was genuinely confused. And Sol was so -.-

We had games like building a tower that would withstand earthquakes and strong wind. Thing is, we had to build it using manila card, straws and cellophane tape. And it had to a meter high. Challenge ACCEPTED. Ours was kinda lame but Kumar made it hilarious by saying there was a skybridge and all. So funny. Then there was also that game where we had to build something that would prevent 2 eggs from being Humpty Dumpty when dropped from the first floor. Chong was a genius and made a nest of some sort with loose tape at the bottom that acted as a cushion. Brill ! Fatin came up with 'Eggcubator' and thankfully, only one egg cracked. Other teams made parachutes and all and it was so awesome (I'm running out of verbs) to see how innovative everyone was building their support for the eggs. And we only had one piece of newspaper, toothpicks, rope and cellophane tape to make use of. Again... CHALLENGE ACCEPTED.

KYUEM's induction week is the best amongst all because it was designed specifically so that everyone knows each other by the end of the week. And there's a lot of us ! I'm going to go ahead and say, I still have difficulty placing names but I try to ! I'm doing a good job though considering it's only been 2 weeks in. BUT the people there are just SOOOOOO nice. I'm not kidding. They're just so nice and humble and funny and so friendly. I love everyone there and that's a lot since it has only been under 2 weeks. But the girls AND guys are just so friendly and lovely and just so nice. Making friends has never been so easy ! I love it !!!!! Seniors too are just so nice and baik and friendly and so welcoming !! I've been telling my mum just how nice the seniors are, she's probably sick of me telling her that hahahaha. But really ! You would never guess just how nice and warm they are from induction week where they had to be stern and cruel hahaha. At the end of induction week, we all had to sit in the middle of the basketball court and next thing we knew, the seniors had already poured water on us and it was so freezing cold but it was probably the BEST way to end Induction. LOVED IT.

There was also the Batch Anniversary where us 14.0's had to organize a dinner for the 13.0's (so basically juniors buat dinner for the seniors). IT VAS A SUCCESS. Thanks to Kaveetha for pulling off such a good production. Teamwork was key here and it was well played by everyone ! Which was so heartwarming to see. I was in the stage managing group and played my part on that night itself. So that required me walking up and down back stage making sure everything goes off without a hitch. I was drained by the end of the night ! But SO worth it seeing the seniors so pleased with everything. Had the best time there. There was sketches, dance, band, everything ! Took photos after the whole night of course but I was quite sakit hati that I didn't bring my camera with me so I had to depend on everyone else's camera. I especially love Zack's camera because of the pink/orange flash.

I don't really know what else to talk about other than singing KY's praises. I've just been given the timetable for next week's classes and I'm actually more scared than excited for it to start. It's only been 2 weeks and I'm already loving KYUEM (as expected), imagine 2 whole years !

I love my parents for hearing me out and eventually placing me in KY :") It's all I ever wanted so I mentally thank them everytime I'm having a good time in college. I love to tiny bits and pieces, it's crazy !!!!!! And thank you to the seniors (if you ever read my blog...) for making my first 2 week stay in college already a memorable one ! xxxxxxxxx

Goodnight, everyone !

Questionnaire

Thought I'd give this a try as well. Y'all should too !

1. How old would you be if you didn’t know how old you are?
I'd be 30.. or older. I'm such a boring lass. I had a friend who told me 'You should stop being so matured!' when I was 12.

2. If you had the opportunity to get a message across to a large group of people, what would your message be?
I'd say 'For God's sake, stop with the fighting and eat more ice-cream.'

3. Is it possible to lie without saying a word?
Of course. I do it all the time.

4. If not now, then when?
In 5 minutes.

5. What would you do differently if you knew nobody would judge you?
I'd be more adventurous with how I dress. Malaysians can't stand people dressing differently, it's so annoying.

6. Are you holding onto something that you need to let go of?
Yeah, everyone is.

7. Have you done anything lately worth remembering?
I went around Sydney city all by myself which is something I thought I was never capable of. But damn son, I friggin' did.

8. Who do you love? what are you doing about it?
I love my parents. And I'm doing all I can.. I think.

9. When is it time to stop calculating risk and rewards, and just do what you know is right?
If you believe, in your heart, what you're doing is right then I say go for it. But to some people, what's right doesn't make it okay to others so I still say we should all take 5 seconds and think before doing. But, I mean, if you think of defeating Decepticons to protect Earth, then by all means, go.

10. Do you think crying is a sign of weakness or strength?
Crying just shows you're human with emotions. It can be of weakness because when you cry, you let your guard down and just really let everything out. A good cry is what everyone needs once in a while. The second you stop crying, you gain all the strength you lost and you move on.

11. Would you break the law to save a loved one?
I'm a really cautious girl so unless it was my immediate family, I'd probably find a better way to save that loved one. Legally.

12. When you’re her age, what will matter to you the most?
When I'm whose age ?

13. Do you ask enough questions? or do you settle for what you know?
I settle for what I know but I wished I ask more questions. But sometimes, I don't know what to ask.

14. Do you celebrate the things you do have?
I can become bratty at times but I'm really grateful for everything I have so syukur alhamdulillah :)

15. When it’s all said and done will you have said more than you’ve done?
Yes. Which is something I'd like to fix.

16. When was the last time you tried something new?
I can't recall.

17. Which activities make you lose track of time?
Sleeping !

18. If you could do it all over again, would you change anything?
You know what. Yes. I'd make some tweaks here and there but nothing too major that it changes my whole life. But yeah

19. What is the difference between living and existing?
It's more meaningful to live than to just exist.

20. If you had a friend who spoke to you in the same way that you sometimes speak to yourself, how long would you allow that person to be your friend?
We'd be best friends.

21. If you had to teach something, what would you teach?
I can't teach even if my life depended on it.

22. Time or money?
With more time, you can find yourself to make more money. With more money, you can't find yourself more time. So I say time.

23. Are you aware that someone has it worse than you?
Fully. So I'm as grateful as they come.

24. What makes you smile?
A lot of things. I smile too much sometimes, I can't help it !

25. What would you regret not fully doing, being, or having in your life?
I would regret not making a name for myself in the future. I would regret not being a good person and a good Muslim overall. And I'd regret not having fun.
