A cousin of mine turned 12 today ! Is it me or are we growing up too fast ? I still can clearly recall our sleepovers and how we would play sister-sister and masak-masak and now we're so occupied with everything material. I'm in a way glad that I wasn't exposed to the internet at THAT young of a age like how some are these days. Man, seriously, it's ridiculous to know some 2-3 year olds have iTouch or some sort. DUDE, YOU'RE 2 ! What ever happened to playing outside and running around. No kid should be in a corner listening to their iPods. It's wrong.

My day was mundane. Woke up for breakfast at Raju's. It is of no doubt that the place serves the best roti canai. Macam tempat lain tak boleh/tak akan lawan roti canai at Raju's. Thennnnnn we went to Uptown to wait for my dad to finish his meeting so we waited at Vichuda yang serve minum lambat gila kalah siput babi. Papa took so long so we went to Jasema. Got myself a Harper's Bazaar (I know.. offtrack, orang beli la BUKU SPM!) but it said Fashion Issue and I flicked through and it looked good so I got it. THEN baru move to the buku sekolah punya part. Got myself some books.. and a pen. And I don't know how that should be public knowledge, SO USELESS.

Went back to Uptown and got my dad. And we went home. Turned down a trip to the salon because macam sayang nak potong rambut. Slept til 7, and we went to Alexis for Amelia's birthday do. Angelhair aglio olio is responsible for me feeling full as crap. Blah. I hate feeling so bloated.

What else.. ? Lady Marmalade is on and I googled what 'voulez vous coucher avec moi ce soir' meant and it means 'Would you sleep with me tonight?' Hahahahahaha okay, will keep that in mind o.o

Skipped school yesterday because I feel icky and blah. Not solid enough to actually skip school but whatever. Malas k.

MAAAAAAN, my days are so boring, after typing out 'Hi', I went blank. Today pretty much was the same. Laid in bed, contemplated on studying, failed studying, makan, watched TV, continued lying in bed, and ate some more. Studied a chapters worth of Biology at night. It's a start.

Read the first few pages of Dear John and it got me engaged in it but I had to pull myself away for Biology's sake because well, just because I'm lacking behind in my studies and a good read should be put on hold til I get everything together. Diagnostics in a months time and I think it's bull. Can it at least hold off for another 2 months ? I'm still trying to put my shit together. Tensi.

Sudoku

I posted this up mainly cause Chase Crawford is front and centre.

My day was so boring. Woke up relatively late, I don't know why. Only went down in time for lunch. Spent my day doing god knows what. Slept again in the afternoon because the couch was so sedap. My mum cooked laksa today and for the first time too ! And after reading Illi's tweet, I craved Muhibbah. So I'm hoping we can go and eat there tomorrow YUM YUM YUM.

I bought a Sudoku book yesterday after trying out one in Dina's book.. and I'm addicted. Like, I can't stop doing it. I may give up at times but I end up doing it anyway. Macam tak boleh homaigod like howww. Tapi best. So, who cares. BUT MY PHYSICS/BIO/CHEM LIKE DAMN CRAP K, HOW TO GET STRAIGHT A'S :'((((

My day

Unlike most schools, my school reopened on Thursday which I still feel was unfair for the ones celebrating Chinese New Year. The streets were empty, I literally could run and jump as and when I like because everybody seemed to be sleeping in. Sarah greeted me with a huge ass present :') I love it to bits so thank you and much love to you, sweets.

Skipped tuition cause I slept in (is there any other excuse when it comes to me on Friday afternoons ? No) and well, that was it.

I'm stoked for Idol, the guys this year are all good. I'm especially rooting for Andrew Garcia cause man, that guy can sing his gut out. And Toddrick. And well, semua lah kan. I can't wait :B Every year, man, they never fail to hook me in.

Useless information in point form

• I hate my new earphones. They are a waste of money, 50 bucks down the drain.
• Jeggings are freaking revolutionary, they're my new favourite thing.
• I am loving Sudoku.

Another One

HI

Back from my usual trip back to Penang. It was okay though we pretty much spent it at home. No beaches and such. I don't know why people make it such a huge deal that I skipped beaches when I go to Penang, dah macam biasa sangat lah, I've been going there since I was born so it's nothing new.

Trips to the nearby mall and well, more food. More and more food. It's nearly impossible to stop eating. Mak Tok wants us all big and fat and she won't stop cooking til we do.

No studying has been done which I feel guilty about but I'm too damn lazy. I did open my Chemistry book.. only to leave it opened like that after 15 minutes of reading. HEH. I need to do something to somehow extend my attention span.

That's pretty much it. I'm pretty happy that I'm home now and that school is tomorrow.

I seriously have to start studying.

Loves

• Valentines day celebration today at school. Roses + sweet messages made my day.
• Went to OU at 4 to buy Jei See's and Hakim's birthday present for their surprise 'do at Kaveetha's. But last minute cancellation on Hakim's part because he was feeling sick but the party was still on (thank god for dual birthdays).
• Haris made the day even more enjoyable with his spontaneous humour.
• Hi you, it's been so long, thanks for bringing back all the memories. :')
• Surprise party was surprisingly fun. Mosquitoes aside, the party consisted of singing and dancing like in a bonfire. Ila was so cute with her hyper dancing and singing !! Hahahaha.
• RIP Alexander McQueen, a great loss to the industry.
• Promised myself to start studying this week tapi so far, satu hari je. HEH.
• Procrastination go shoo away.

HI ! It's already Thursday. Damn fast time goes by. A bit worrying but hell. Chinese New Year is this Sunday and 3 more days of holiday for us. Hoorah hoorah ! I hope to get some studying done because my intervention marks are far from even 'mediocre'. I think study wise, I've already hit rock bottom (I mean, have you seen my add maths ? Epic failure) so the only way from here is up and only up.

• Finally inquired about a gym. I now only need mum's consent. I'm only 17 and I can already feel all the energy draining out of me. Gah.
• Valentines Day (as in the movie) is out. Happy happy joy joy
• My add maths teacher pulled me aside this week to tell me how I'm coping. Clearly I'm not. Can I just drop this subject ?
• Chinese New Year this Sunday which means holidays for us. But stores will be closed so there's no point really in going out. Heh.
• American Idol last night was (Y) Andrew Garcia's rendition on Paula Abdul's one hit wonder made me love him even more. And that Didi Benami can sing. And Ellen makes watching it all even better.

Plaits and Braids

I want to do this with my friends. A huge circle and everyone does french plaits. That'll be fun.

Today was relatively mundane. Don't get me wrong, I really wanted to go for cross country but I was too tired (I don't know from what, I get tired so easily nowadays -____-). But I woke up at 730 anyway and got dressed hoping Uncle Reza could send me but he didn't pick up his phone. I was already decked in my baju rumah sukan k. Damn sad. Hahaha. Regretted not waking up earlier but oh well. I actually surveyed gyms online hoping to enroll in one with my mum (has been on our agenda since.. forever) but gave up.

Since only my dad, Iman and I were at home, we decided to go out for lunch and resorted to Chinoz at the Gardens mall. Had my usual salt beef sandwich which was up tops. Even had affogato (?) which was aptly described as 'vanilla ice cream bathed in espresso'. I hated it. Tak sedap langsung.

Had the worst menstrual pains of all time and I had to go search for a pharmacy and bought those pink Panadol pills and sat down for a good half hour because walking seemed like a form of torture. ANYWAY met up with Papa back at Gardens and I went to Borders to get myself the new Teen Vogue. And well, I was in bloody pain the whole time.

Went home and that was pretty much it. My whole day. -_-

I have this 10 hour BM seminar at UM and I'm contemplating to go because of this period pain but I really want to go. But it's 10 hours. And we have to be in school by 7. Freaking ridiculous seeing how the seminar starts only at 9. Huge rush for nothing.

Over The Moon

Dreaded going to school but dah Friday kan, might as well, besides sampai 12:30 je kan. So I went. And I was so mengantuk and the boys thought I was emo sebab pagi pagi dah macam senyap. Hahahaha. School was alright, draggy but that's nothing different. Friday punya timetable macam penat lah. Add maths > Maths > Bio > Physics. Stressed !

Came back home and had lunch and slept. Til 3 ! My initial intention was to just skip my Physics tuition but my dad kept insisting so I did anyway. Tak basuh rambut pun sebab dah lambat gila ! Got there half an hour late and studied mirror/lenses/DAH LUPA. Mum fetched me and we went to +wondermilk because Tania pesan cupcakes. So indulged in my baked potato and Super Fries. Freaking yum !! Dah lama gila tak makan.

Got home and Mum sent me back first before taking Iman to get her dinner.

SURPRISEEEEEE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

TERKEJUT TAHAP TAK TIPU LANGSUNG !!!! I WAS SO SURPRISED because I thought that if anyone does a surprise party for me, they'd fail because I can (supposedly) smell a surprise miles and miles away. But they proved me wrong. There was Sarah, Ila, Amy, Aimi, Aidit, Hafiz I., Hafiz R., Darren, Johann, Shahrain, Marc, Anis, Asif, Hisham and Hussein. Sumpah terkejut gila babiii, I had to steady myself. Aidit and Darren and my amazing sister planned this all out and they're freaking good at planning all this ! Freaking secretive too, at that. Tadi kat sekolah, they were all around school, and I thought they were involved with their own rumah sukan sebab cross country is tomorrow so I didn't suspect anything at all. Ada one time tu, Sarah ajak Ila keluar jap, SUMPAH ingat sebab KH punya benda tapi taaaaaak. And Aidit was like 'Why do you think we kept going out of class to jumpa orang?' Hahahaha I seriously thought it was all for rumah sukan and stuff. And apparently everyone knew ! It amazes me up til now that EVERYONE WHO KNEW ABOUT THAE PARTY KEPT MUM ABOUT THE WHOLE THING. Gila pandai tahap gaban nak keep a secret !! I'm so touched that they went through the trouble to check with some restaurants if they could accommodate 40 people but none could. So my surprise party was cancelled and my sister told me about this and honestly, I was a bit upset that it was cancelled but decided to let it go because there was nothing much I could do, takkan nak suruh dorang buat surprise -________-' Tapi sebab nampak 'emo', dorang buat jugak last last. I suspected that they were going to do it tomorrow (Saturday) sebab cakap nak 'hang out' to make up for my cancelled surprise party. Even my dear mother got into the act. She left her phone so she had to pinjam mine when my sisters called. MACAM SECRET SPY.

My mum was acting like her usual self and asking the question she'd normally would ask like 'What do you want for dinner?' and etc. Padahal my sister was telling her the current situation back at home like how many people were there and about food and drinks for them. BAGUS GILA K MY MUM BOLEH ACT ! Hahahahaha. I didn't suspect anything at all, like I've told you a million and one times already.

And I went home, tired, and I was already thinking of jogging for tomorrow (FIRST TIME!) but of course that was put on hold.

Though many couldn't make it (RACHAEL, SANJU, DEBRA, LI MAY, BRENDA, BELINDA, GRACE, JIA WEN, AND EVERYBODY ELSE!!) I was still the happiest girl tonight. It was a simple surprise do with pizza and sodas. Moved to the next house to play Truth and Dare and my new favourite game ; I Never or something like that lah hahaha. It's a game yang someone says 'I've never (done something you really haven't done)' and whoever who HAS done the thing has to stand up. HAHA. ILA TERER EH JUGAAAAAK

Nasib pergi tuition sebab kalau tak pergi, nanti macam slack sikit because everyone would be kelam kabut because I'm not supposed to be in the house and all. Thank God for Physics tuition that falls on Fridays ! ♥

I wish I could rewind the party all over again because for the first time in a long time, I fell in love with life and this party reminded me how amazing it can be with all the right people in your life at the right time.

I love my friends, who are amazing people for even thinking to plan this whole 'do. For going through all that planning (I know lah stress gila kan hahahahaha) and for discussing this behind my back the whole time through. I love my sister, Tania who was the mastermind behind this surprise. I love my mum for going with the flow and being a total sport about this. And Iman for successfully keeping this a secret dari dulu lagi because apparently she knew about this surprise even before I told her about TANIA's surprise party which was on January 17th. I'm so thankful for having such amazing people in my life.

I thank each and everyone of you from the bottom of my heart. Mark my words ; I'll remember this day til the day I die.

• Pavilion yesterday.
• Had La Bodega for lunch and can I just tell you how fan-freaking-tastic the food is there ? I can't describe my love for the hot tapas they serve you.
• Topshop keeps failing me. It's like a whole lot of nothing of 2 floors. Dahlah mahal tak ingat dunia. Tried on a monochrome horizontally striped dress (which btw made me look more curvaceous than ever). It looked like it was trying to channel Herve Leger bodycon dresses but failed. HEH
• Cotton On Pavilion = Cotton On Body = best sleepwear ever.
• The mess that was Zara. I mean, really, clothes that are not hung properly (as in, betul betul senget) to them lying everywhere made me hate shopping there.
• The fake lashes in Mac were so tempting. I wonder how I'll look with long lashes.. MUST TRY
• Met Grace !
• My trip to La Bodega left me wanting more. Anyone up to treat me out, call me.
