Intervention

Hi.

I'm tired. I'm a very tired girl. This intervention is driving me nuts and I'm so sleep deprived. I hate the fact that this exam is so freaking early in the year. WE HAVEN'T REALLY EVEN SETTLED IN FORM 5 DAH BUAT EXAM ? I guess it does have its pros and cons; pros being it that we did actually study so early in the year, if it wasn't for this intervensi, we wouldn't have studied and played around and wasted January. I'm so tired gila babi lah wei. I go to school so exhausted because I stay up late studying. And I can hardly understand the questions and I end up leaving them blank and feeling stupid.

I'm just going to go ahead and tell you that there is no doubt I'll be failing some of my subjects but I'll do better for my Diagnostic in March. I'm promising myself that.

Mimpi

It's a Saturdaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay.

And I am so bored, it's driving me crazy. I need to drive around but I'm so goddamn lazy to start going through the whole driving license process. But once I get to drive, I won't have to waste my time, lying in bed all freaking day.

Had a belated birthday dinner at Le Meridien and got so full stuffing myself with food. Came back home and a Happy Birthday song was sung to Tania and I and we indulged in Alexis' pavlova. That cake is bliss, man.

Promised myself to do bits of additional maths.. and I DIDN'T. CRYYYYYYYYY habis ah add maths Isnin karang.

Knocks Me Down

• I'm constantly sidetracked by Facebook and Twitter and it's not doing any good to my studies. I should stop cold turkey. Ok, no, I take that back.
• Intervention test (unnecessary) is still going on and well.. okay.
• I'm so tired. I hate my sleeping cycle.
• Dear God, can you do me a favour and instill in some rajin-ness in myself ? Thank you, appreciate it.
• I am desperately craving for +wondermilk's baked potatoes and fries. Desperately.

And up til now, sometimes when my dad tells a fact about the mind, he'll put his two fingers to his head and say 'Unagi' like how Ross did. I freaking love Friends, always have always will ♥

Slept at 2 in the morning yesterday after skyping with none other than Hafiz. Talked about colleges even though our tak sit pun lagi for our first intervensi zzz. Hahaha harapan besar. Lawak gila babi when he said "John, when I say UM, I'm not talking about Universiti Malaya, I'm talking about University of Manchester" and we burst our laughing cause gila perasan hahahaha.

Woke up late despite the fact that we had to be at school by 720. Went to drop Tania off but Mama wanted to go have breakfast so we did so at Devi's. Had roti telur and my usual sirap limau.

The school had music on so there was the occasional 'OMG I LOVE THIS SONG!!' (which is absurd because the songs on repeat on my iTunes) and I admit to momentary dancing.

Managed to finish the organization chart and I still have the duty roster to do. HORROR

Man, Vanity Fair shots beats everything else lah seriously. They always have the best concept.

ANYWAY! Second week of school, done and done. Tasawwur test started today and despite studying next to nothing, it wasn't as hard as I thought it'd be though I skipped some questions because I had no clue at all. I'm a lazy girl so point forms it'll be.

• I have to go to school tomorrow and it's killing me inside because the thought of waking up early on a weekend is torturous.
• We had our AGM meeting and it was fun. I liked seeing all the girl guides flooding the canteen. Dahlah panas gila satu hari tuuuuuuuuuu
• Sarah turned 17 on the 14th ♥ sayang bangat sama kau :')
• I might just like you. MIGHT. Thanks for that -.-
• We have a new girl in our class, a foreign exchange student. From Germany was it ? I haven't gotten the chance to talk to her yet because everyone is harassing her which is frustrating because macam kalau budak tu tak lawa, ada nak pergi introduce semua tu ? People who are so biased with looks disgust me to no end. But I'm sure that girl is nice hahaha :)
• I'm turning seventeen next Tuesday ! HEHE. It's no crime to be excited about your birthday so let me be <3

• My sweet sweet sweet grandparents sent me a birthday card.. via snail mail ! So rad. I freaking love getting snail mail, macam best sangat and besides, you don't get that often nowadays.. which is sad. But I'm not opening it til my birthday because then, baru lah best. Teehee.

Unfortunate

HELLO GORGEOUS HUMAN BEING

Had a good day at school. It's a new week which means a week closer to our first intervention test. WTFOMGBBQ ! I thought it'll be a one hour paper for every subject, turns out to be a the whole do, paper 1, 2, 3 semua benda lah ! :( SO malas to study.

We had PJ = Puan Sia taking over to cover Chemistry subjects for last year. But we got called downstairs for a taklimat PJ (can we go 'WHAT THE HELL?' please?) and we're told that there WILL be PJ in the upcoming weeks (which the girls proceed to groan and the boys go 'yeaaaay'). We had BM after that and we proceeded doing the corrections for our finals. Maths was next and we started on number bases. HAHAHA lawak lah, dia 1+1 pun jadi 10 ke apa benda lah ntah. Gila bodoh tak. Haih. Nasib baik faham last last tu. Then rehat, and the whole canteen was occupied for some reason, before this tak lah full mana ? So we sat paling belakanggggg sekali, macam table for losers tapi best sebab dekat ngan stairs nak naik atas

but so jauh to buy food. OH WELL



Chemistry was okay, we did an experiment and my group consisted of Aimi, Jei See and Li May. Our first attempt failed so we did it twice, thank God, the second time jadi.

Then I went back home. HOH. So tired. Slept til 530 just in time to get ready for tuition at 6.

And no, I haven't studied anything. Boleh tu boleh tapi malas gila mcm *@&!_#*)!(@

Esok !

I'd be lying if I said I'm not constantly mentally listing what I want for my birthday. But to me, a genuine birthday wish beats everything out of the park. There's nothing like it.

First Week

So ! First weekend over and done with. Lots of paperwork to me. Had our first Chemistry tuition on Monday and it was productive, I'm glad for that.

Ok, I've forgotten everything. I can't wait to get out of the house. I propose outings on a Saturday and the library on Sundays.

What I Did This Week

• Chemistry tuition and I now know which ones are insoluble and soluble.. I hope.
• Slept in the afternoon after swearing to myself that I won't. PENAT SANGAT
• Pemantapan Disiplin was fun because the ones who control the base are finally, our friends so it was easy and fun. Takde dah macam last year, Ashraf and Luqman suruh baca ikrar belakang tiang ! Hahahaha.
• Watched Fame, Time Traveler's Wife and The September Issue. I rate Fame a 8/10, Time Traveler's a 7/10 and The September Issue 5/10. Dalam The September Issue ada Raquel Zimmerman lepas a photoshoot, makan pie pastu cakap MM pastu gelak hahaha comel gila.
• Bought Teen Vogue with Jessica Szohr on the cover. She's drop dead pretty.
• Attempted Chemistry and Biology. I'm proud.
• OH ! Found out that our first intervensi is on the 18th of January which is absurd but I guess, in a way, good because then we'd study. Kalau intervensi March, March karang lah baru belajar. Tapi wtf all f4 chapters by the 18th ? Die and cry.
• Went to the dentist and he didn't note anything suspicious about me not wearing my elastics. Phew. Though, he told me to continue wearing them. Damnit.
• Skipped a day of school due to my menses. It's like a monthly holiday for me, yeay.
• Got my book orders from Amazon. The Sartorialist by Scott Schuman and Teen Vogue Handbook. HAPPY ME

So I'm tired and I want to take a nap. Ciao.

Arc De Triomphe

My new motivation to study. If I do well this year, I'm going to ask for the ultimate trip to Europe. So therefore, my new found determination to study.

Schools tomorrow and it'll be our last first day and I'm torn as to feel stoked or sad. Maybe I should capture some Kodaks for the sake of it. Besides, I predict no sort of studying will be accomplished tomorrow so why not eh.

Procrastination be damned. My New Years resolution (notoriously known to be broken by the 2nd week of the year but whatever) is to avoid putting off things and get to them immediately because in the end, I got nothing to lose anyway. Besides, it's just one year, I see no harm going all out. And I want and need to perform my prayers as often as I can.

Sounds ambitious enough kan. It can be done.. I hope.

Bye 2009 Hello 2010

I had a good run this year.

We started our form 4 and I still remember still being slightly upset about my PMR results as they called up students who achieved straight A's onto the stage on the first day. We were in the hall pretty much for the first 2 days because they had to sort us into classes. My name, I remember, was amongst the first to be called for Alpha. Soon after, I got to know my classmates and out of the 6 mates, 4 including me got into said class. Sat beside Ila and got nominated to be class monitor and eventually got to be one with Ila as my assistant (who soon retired and it got passed on to Haikal hehe). I loved Form 4, as much as I said I hated it. 2 of my closest friends headed off to a boarding school which we were saddened about but turned out they got into the same school as another good friend of mine so it's all good.

Sweet 16s

Our sixteenth year on Earth and that calls for a celebration. Sarah who turned 16 first (Jan 14th, 2 weeks from now!) celebrated hers at Tony Romas and in true Sweet Sixteenth spirit, did the place up but on her real birthday which fell on a Wednesday, I still remember because ada lagi gambar kita pakai baju PP, I brought her cupcakes and we sang to her in school. I had a 'do myself at my place and got a laptop as a birthday present (which I sometimes blame for my procrastination but turned out that it was just me). Ila had a celebration at her house which I thoroughly enjoyed myself because I remember laughing so hard and so much with Amy, Sarah and Dina that night. Had a surprise party for Debra at Nick's place and well, let's just say, that wasn't the last surprise party of the year. Diyana had a themed birthday and for the love of Michael Jackson, she did a 'Smooth Criminal' celebration in where the actual theme laid in the video that took place in a black and white scenario in the '50s. Had a ball ! Kaveetha too had one and everyone had to wear the colours of the Powerpuff Girls so blue, red and green it was ! Ayesha's sixteenth 'do coincided with Nikki's real birthday, and that was just as fun because the night consisted of picture taking, Wii and foosball playing and cap kali cap kali cap cap cap. Jia Wen did hers in Mum's Place and I fell in love with the food, I think the highlight of the day though was when we were all stuffed into her mum's car to go to Curve, that was hilarious because everyone was gasping for air hahahahaha. Aimi combined with Farisha to have a party at Paddington Pancakes and that was one enjoyable night. Though I had to go back early, but best gila lah. Sebab semua orang datang. Rachael had a party at Bubba Gump and the birthday song was so cool sial, hihi. OH ! And Sanju's birthday at Fridays too. Athirah's black, white and red themed birthday was held at Redbox and besides Athirah, I didn't really anyone except for the boys so it was just me and them, had an awesome time dancing and singing to the songs. And I missed out on Ashley's :( There were more birthdays but dah lupa, thank God ada blog ! I can just reread whatever happened and relive the moment. Like a diary but open to the public which if you think about it, defeats the whole purpose.

School And Everything About It

School-wise however isn't all that sweet. Had trouble (still do) with basically every subject. Sarah and I dari beginning of the year cakap nak belajar tapi selalu 'Ala takpelah, mid year lah dapat A's!' > 'Eh, takpe ah, August lah baru buat betul betul' > 'Finals je ah!!' > 'NEXT YEAR K?!' hahahaha. We had Cikgu Tunku Zubaidah as our class teacher hence she taught us BM. She's awesome possum though at one time, it seemed to us she had bad PMS all month long. I'm still having a troubled relationship with Add Maths and it sickens me to the stomach. I'm wishing for better luck with it this year (I still have trouble remembering to say 'this year' instead of 'next year') as well as every other subject. You don't know how much I want this !

My school attendance isn't really something to be proud of hahahaha. And I'm class monitor how.. ? And I attended sports day !! Best gila hahahaha. Spent the day with my fellow green house mates ; Izzati, Amy and Athirah. Plan macam macam for green house this year. We got third which is a fall from first place in '08. Amy, what ever happened to our semangat jitu to be all prepared for next year ? HAHA. Nak masuk running la konon, harapan ! :( And we also planned and organized our Pandu Puteri dinner. 'Spring In Greece' was our theme and we had a blast every step in the way despite the occasional arguments and misunderstandings in the committee. Sarah and I got a room at the Royale Bintang hehehe, BEST tau. I still can remember the whole day because we were so pumped for the night. Settled in the room before going out to Curve to make hair appointments and Peek-A-Boo said they'd call us but when we were on the way to Ikano to find Sarah's shoes, they said they were full so we had to rush back to Curve to find a saloon and settled on to the one secluded behind. We left behind pictures of how Sarah wanted her hair to be so macam we spent how long ntah explaining to the guy camne nak buat -.- Braid pun tak tahu camne nak buat, haih. Last last tu jadi lah jugak kan, met Farisha, Amy and Ila at the salons doing their hair. Went back and gila kecoh nak buat deco yang macam half dead hahahaha. Oh ! Sarah and Ila went back home with me one day from school and we went to SSF to get some decorations which was gila babs susah seeing how we had to do it all under a budget. Got some stuff and headed home via cab. Took some pictures on my webcam and they were off. :D The day of the dinner was (Y)(Y), I think it means most to us because we were the one who did the organizing and it seemed fun to us even if we had no live entertainment, I still danced my butt off. Song of the night was Jai Ho for some reason hahaha.

We also had a school dinner in which I got the pleasure of meeting Yuna and listening to her live. Then, we had the IU day which I got to meet Nikki's friend/magician/dancer, Nasri. And Mina ! :)

Love Like That

I started 2009 single and I ended it the same way. I have no regrets. Though, I did meet a guy I fell head over heels for. I am a strong believer that everything happens for a reason and I'm greeting 2010 with an open heart so I wish you (mine) nothing but the best. I gained some new friends and I so far, haven't lost any significant ones.

There's so many things I'm looking forward to in 2010, it's crazy. It's 5 minutes to January 2nd and I haven't come up with a resolution yet. Oh well.
